Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream in a Bag

Ingredients

  • 1 cup half and half
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 quart ziploc bags
  • 1 gallon ziploc bag
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 1/3 cup rock salt

Instructions

  1. Place ice and salt in gallon sized ziploc bag.

  2. Mix half and half, sugar, and vanilla in a quart sized bag and seal tightly. Use the second quart sized bag to double bag the ingredients. Place into gallon sized bag and seal.

  3. Gently shake the bag for 10-15 minutes until ingredients reach the consistency of ice cream.

  4. Open and enjoy.
