Let’s Keep the Best Parts of 2020!
What were your best parts of 2020? Maybe there weren’t that many. After all, 2020 was a whirlwind year that no one could’ve ever imagined. Shut downs, quarantines, and the coronavirus dominated the year. Our way of life changed drastically, and practically overnight, thanks to Covid-19.
Still, some positive things came out of the year. People picked up new skills. They started cooking at home. Some decided to start their own businesses when work got cut back. Parents spent more time with their kids. (Yes, that’s supposed to be a good thing!) We stayed home, slowed down, and realized what’s really important.
And in the spirit of that I want to share some of the best parts of 2020 for my family. A year in review with a new perspective. Let’s go!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my year in review. It’s a great reminder that not everything is bad.
Of course it’s so important to remember that many people were not as fortunate. From loss of jobs and income to loss of family members and loved ones, the effects of 2020 are still looming over so many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as they recover… financially, mentally, emotionally, and relationally.
Be kind. Love your neighbor. Give. And always look for the good.
Have a blessed week friends.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
